Hi!I’m Eddie, the ADHD coach, husband, father of two, Devon & Dartmoor based mind behind Shed & heart ADHD Coaching. I work with adults across the UK via video calling (from my shed!), with in person sessions coming soon in Exeter, Devon. After a lifetime of trying to shrink myself to fit into a neurotypical world, I finally discovered the strength of working with my ADHD mind rather than against it, and slowly, I started to grow.I began rethinking tasks into the way I would want to do them and could do them, not always the way the world thinks they should be done. Your way, is the right way. After learning that ADHD medication didn’t help me as much as it can help others, I learned to work with my own rhythm, working with the way my mind, energy and focus naturally flow, harnessing it when it is at its most productive and easing off when it’s time to recharge. Treating and adjusting different aspects of my life to support this using movement, food, sleep, nature and anything else that I found helped me (cold plunges, good coffee, social interaction and the odd good pint of ale to name a few). This is where my true passion for coaching lies, pills don’t give you skills, so medicated or not, there is always a way.And finally, I learned to ask for help, to drop the shame and stigma I had built around doing so, believing myself ‘weak’ and ‘useless’ if I did.I found the answer in honesty, a little hard work and accountability. To share what I’ve learned with other wonderful ADHD minds brings me great joy. This is where my ADHD coaching can help you, read on to learn more….
Helping you to help yourself
Guiding without judgment
Celebrating your unique strengths

ADHD coaching is a supportive, collaborative process to help you understand and work with your unique mind, energy, and rhythms, rather than against them. It’s about creating practical strategies, building self-awareness, and nurturing your strengths, whilst also learning when rest and reflection are needed.Through coaching, you gain guidance, encouragement, and a safe space to explore challenges, set achievable goals, and discover approaches that feel natural and sustainable for you.Ultimately, ADHD coaching is totally led by you and isn’t about fixing who you are, I am not a ‘therapist’ and you are not broken, it’s about helping you thrive in a way that respects your individuality and empowers you to live a more full and authentic life, whatever that may look like to you.Why 'Shed & heart?'
I mean, of course, the easy answer is I coach people from the shed at the bottom of my garden via video calling.......the easy answer isn't always the best one!My shed is an ever evolving space, much like me and other ADHD brains. It has been a date night restaurant for my wife and I, my own home gym complete with squat rack, a spoon carving den complete with woodburner, an office, a bike shed, a classic car engine building workshop and now my own ADHD coaching room.It is my space, my escape and a true honest reflection of the inside of my ADHD brain, brimming full of ideas that I have tried, I have stopped, I am still doing or perhaps I will never try again. It started off as this little private space that I could fully unmask and indulge in whatever my brain wanted to grab hold of that day and the more I learned about myself, the more I could open the doors to my shed, and let that unmasked, wonderful, ADHD fearlessness escape and permeate into every area of my life.I want to share that with people, find a space to be you and learn how to take that space with you, everywhere you go.Just because it started in a shed doesn't mean it should stay there.
